Australia and SE Asia 6 month plan. Best time to go and how long in each country?
Hi, me and my girlfriend are planning to go to Australia for 1 month and SE Asia for 5 months. We are planning to leave at the end of January 2018 and have come up with a rough itinerary but would like thoughts from people who have been to these places!
The main questions are:
-Are we choosing the right countries at the right time? i.e Australia, Thailand and Laos are apparently very hot in February, March and April. Will this be unbearable heat the whole time? And if so, could anyone recommend a better route to avoid this?
-Do we have enough (or too much) time in each country?

Australia - February - (East coast for 4 weeks)

Thailand South - March (3 weeks)

Thailand North and Central - March (1 week) and April (1 week)

Laos - April (3 weeks)

Vietnam - May (4 weeks)

Cambodia - June (2 weeks)

Malaysia - June (2 weeks) and July (1 week)

Singapore - July (4 days)
-
Indonesia - July and August (Bali and Lombok for 4 weeks)
