Anyone use Chase Reserve Trip Cancellation? X-Post CreditCards

Looking for any stories about Chase Sapphire Reserve Trip Cancellation insurance. I've got a trip scheduled in two weeks to the Caribbean, which just got hit by ANOTHER Cat5 hurricane. Even if the resort reps says they're open, I'm not really interested in staying at what probably resembles a war zone.

I made a call in to Chase to ask about their insurance on this, and it honestly sounds too good to be true. Seems if I'm unable to go due to severe weather (cat5 included), that they will offer a refund of up to 10k/person. This would be a lifesaver if so, but if it sounds too good to be true it usually is.

So, has anyone ever tried this perk out, and if so how did it go?
