So, I am a Brit, lived in London my whole life and I've been looking for somewhere pretty random to go on holiday. I have done your typical European travels and some other 'mainstream' holiday locations, but I've always wanted to go somewhere slightly different. I know of Baku as a city, I've heard of it, but don't know anyone who has even considered going, let alone gone. So I figured I'd turn to the wonderful folk of reddit to see if anyone has travelled there before or if there were any Baku-nian's on this thread who may be able to share their knowledge on what one can expect to receive upon a trip to Baku!
