30 year old car
planning on doing a trip to detroit and columbus to see a few concerts in november. total trip is 1000 miles in my 1986 mazda b2000.
truck has had 1 owner before me and i've done some work to it, but it came from arizona when i got it in not as good condition. i took it to minnesota this year (800 miles round trip) with a blown valve cover gasket and it was fine. i have since replaced the gasket as well as some other things.
should i be worried? what are your experiences with vehicles this old?
