10 day travel ideas
Hello! First time posting but I'm looking for some ideas for solo travel. I may have the opportunity between jobs to travel for 10 days, it's going to be short notice so I'd be going alone. I'm having trouble thinking of places to go, I'm in Toronto and don't want to travel too far (maybe 6 hour flight max), cost isn't a huge concern but I don't plan on going too crazy, and I like outdoor activities.
Hiking Machu pichu was my first thought but a special someone requested I wait for her to do that, so that's off the table.
I've seen pretty much every part of Canada over the past two years so I'm thinking South America (US is not out of the question) but whenever I look up places I get a little nervous from all the travel warnings. I'm a 25 year old decently sized male, do I need to be concerned?
Can anyone give some suggestions on places worth visiting with a tight time frame? Where should I be looking to stay (hotel, hostels etc)? And where is a good place to find information?
