Would I lose out on the experience if i got a private room hostel?
I've done one solo trip, last may to Ireland. It was through some solo trip agency and me and 3 random girls went to 4 cities in 7 days, hotels each night in our own rooms. I'm not really into the whole bunking in the same room with strangers and likely wouldnt get any sleep and would be miserable so i would definitely spend the extra money and go places with private rooms. Anyway, i dont want to go to a hotel again because it will be hard to meet other solo travelers but i'm worried all the other people in the hostel will make friends and plans with each other who are in their rooms and i'll be by myself in my private room with no plans :/ (and i feel like it would be weird walking in other peoples rooms lol)
So am i going to miss out on all the activities and planning if i get the private rooms?
Sorry for the rookie question, i've never done a hostel and solo traveling is already anxiety filled as it is for me :/ (but i want to get out of my comfort zone and do this...)
