Seeking Roadtrip Tips & Advice: Washington (Seattle) to California (San Francisco)
I'm taking two weeks off to travel from Washington to California. I'm flying in to Seattle and flying out back home from San Francisco.
I'm seeking any tips or advice y'all can share for this trip (places to visit, best food to try, lodging, getting around, etc.) I'm planning to use Airbnb for about two days/two nights in Seattle (is that enough time?), but would welcome any other ideas for lodging.
Also, I'm currently planning on renting a car (which will be expensive), but any ideas on how to reduce this would be greatly appreciated. Is Seattle a good city to use Uber or Lyft that I can avoid the use of a rental vehicle? I want to be outdoors and visit National Parks and top sightseeing spots, which I assume will necessitate the use of a vehicle, unless I'm wrong. If I can reduce the use of a vehicle to only my drive from Seattle to SF, this would help on costs.
I have a lot of places already listed to see while I travel (mostly found through searching previous posts of similar trips), but any food recommendations would greatly add to this trip, as I will probably be using Yelp and see what is popular with the locals.
