Question about cooking while camping
We are camping overnight this weekend at a local state park (that has fire rings so what I'm asking is allowed) and I'm looking at buying either a 2 burner propane stove or a grill table that sits over a fire. My boyfriend would prefer to use fire since that's less we have to pack up, but I'm not sold on it's versatility. We are starting to camp more and more so I want to invest in something that will last and meet our needs in terms of food prep while also staying relatively inexpensive.
I know a lot of people here backpack so I was hoping to maybe get input on each option.
Specifically looking at a Coleman Matchlight 10,000 BTU 2-burner or an Ozark Trail Heavy Duty Camp Grill since both of those can be picked up today at my local Walmart.
My ultimate goal is to cook pancakes one morning since one of the kids with us is an extremely picky eater!
