Obviously your mileage may very but this is the second time I've tried this and it worked so who knows.

I was flying to Iran from Bahrain. The guy there told me several times that it would be taken away but eventually he relented and let me take about two bottles. He had to ask his supervisor too.

Second time was from Sri Lanka to Kuwait. That time, the guy just told me that alcohol was illegal in Kuwait. I said "yeah" then the guy just said "ok, you going to drink in airport?" I looked at my two bottles of vodka and said yep.

When I go to Saudi later this year, I'll see if it works. Anyway thought y'all might find it interesting.
