I just booked with Spirit Airlines and have a few questions..
First, I know it is Spirit. It's a weekend trip where I don't need any bags besides my backpack so I significantly save money this way.
I was trying to book through Spirit.com, but they would never go through. It declined all my credit/debit cards and when I went to "My Reservations" it showed that I booked and cancelled three times. Then I finally booked through Priceline for $5 more and it went through. A huge bonus is I get to pick my seat on Spirit.com for much less that made booking on Priceline a wash.
Now I am on Spirit and it says my reservation is confirmed but says below it "Your reservation requires additional attention by a Spirit Airlines representative. Please contact Customer Service at 1-801-401-2222 to change, cancel, or check-in your Reservation." Am I going to get charged to sit on hold for like 10 minutes to do nothing but confirm something?
Also, I am trying to request mileage credit but it won't recognize my confirmation code. Do I have to wait after the flight to confirm?
