Help on where and when to buy Visas
I am leaving for a 6-month solo trip to Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar, China, Bangladesh and India at the end of October. I am now looking at visas, via VisaHQ, for these countries and am finding it to be an expensive affair (as expected) due to the large service charge. I was wondering if anyone has a favourite website for purchasing visas (hopefully at a lower rate)? Although I have listed the countries above, nothing is set in stone.
My plans could change and I may scrap some of the listed countries above or go a different direction entirely. Because of this, it may be better for me to purchase Visas as I travel. How feasible is this and have other travellers done this before? Would it be substantially more difficult to get a visa while travelling versus purchasing them ahead of my trip? What do you guys/gals do when you head travelling?
Edit: I am a British citizen. Thailand is my first destination as it is well travelled and I do not require visa to go there.
