Getting to the Dead Sea from Amman.
We'll be in Jordan for 10 days in October, starting in Amman. From what I've read, if you don't rent a car there are two (or three?) options: take a taxi or book a daytrip from Amman. I'm not sure if it is possible to take a bus there and how much of a pain in the ass that would be. So, I have 2 questions:
Which way of getting there would you recommend? And if there is a bus, does it continue on to Petra from the Dead Sea or would you have to return to Amman either way?
