Hey!

So I've flown quite a bit with family/friends but I've never been in this situation so I'm not sure how it works.

I'm flying from Halifax Canada to New York next week, but I have a layover in Toronto. Both flights are Delta.

Do I go through customs in Halifax or Toronto? Do I have to recheck my bag in Toronto or does it automatically get put through whatever customs it needs to by the airline? Hopefully I gave enough information, if I'm missing anything I'll be quick to answer!
