First Time Backpacking in Europe.
So I got an opportunity to go backpack in Europe for 6 weeks and I am going with a friend of mine. We are both guys in our early 20's and we are very excited. I have been on reddit for a few years now so I was hoping I could post here for a little advice on how to get the most of my trip.
When: Flight leaves Sep. 17th Returns Nov. 5th Where: Flights arrive and depart out of Heathrow, London Budget: $3500 per person roughly Places we want to see: Amsterdam, Spain, Italy, France
So originally I was thinking that we will fly into Heathrow, go over to Amsterdam, work our way down to Italy, then over to Spain and then going to Paris on our way back to Heathrow. One of my bigger concerns right now is trying to figure out which pass I need for the Eurail. I would like to visit a few more places in-between the places that I listed above but I would love some advice on how to best go about my travels. I don't want to book things too far out in advanced because I have heard that many people find other things that they really want to do or go see and that if they would have had they're entire trip booked up they would have missed out. Any help is much appreciated.
Thank you
