Feedback and suggestions for my first route through Europe!
Hi all,
Just started planning a trip through Europe (Italy, Germany, and the UK) and I'd appreciate any feedback or suggestions. It's just going to be me and my girlfriend of over 7 years (we're college aged).
Budget: $2000 (each)
Duration: 21 days, May 6 - 27
Starting: Venice, Italy. After that, we're going Munich --> Berlin --> plane to London --> plane to Rome, Italy --> Florence --> back to Venice for flight home to the US.
Interests: I've never left the country, I'm honestly just interested in experiencing other cultures, seeing the sights, being as touristy as I can! I love historical sites in the US, DC was one of my favorite vacations, so I imagine I'll love European historical sites as well.
Preferences: Places with great food, romantic spots, enough to fill about 3 days with stuff to do.
Here's an image of our route so far! The nights per spot are definitely not set in stone, as we haven't looked at stuff to do at each stop yet, which will determine the amount of time we spend there.
Questions I have: The Flexibus seems like a good option to get around Italy and Germany, any thoughts? What are some of your favorite attractions along our route? Would you recommend, based on my interests, that I change any of the stops?
