December travel -- Lisbon or Krakow?
My wife and I are hoping to spend a week traveling after the school semester ends in December. We are currently looking at either Lisbon or Krakow. We are not too concerned by the cold weather, however, we are slightly concerned about the rainy season in Lisbon.
We love going (relatively) cheap places. For instance, we enjoyed Budapest much more than Venice. My wife spent a few months in Prague and adored her time there. Krakow seems comparable to Budapest in this regard, while Lisbon appears more expensive, but cheaper by western European standards.
So, my question is where would you go? Convince me. Our trip will be December 7 - December 16 ... those dates are slightly flexible.
