Alaska during winter
I booked a trip to Alaska this October. My main goal is to see the northern lights. So I will be in Fairbanks for 4 days, likely just relaxing at the airbnb.
But for my days in anchorage I realized October is when winter starts and a lot of the touristy stuff shuts down. I'm doing an overnight to talkeetna on the railroad. But for the other 2-3 days in anchorage. Would it be a good idea to drive the Seward hwy and pass. Stay a night in Seward? Is the drive okay if I have 4wd?. I really enjoy long mountain drives
