Pacific Northwest Road Trip
Hello there. My wife and I are planning to embark on a 5 week road trip next summer, beginning in late June spanning to the end of July/early August. This is our planned route below:

Stop 1: Brainard Lake Recreation Area, CO
Stop 2: Sawtooth National Forest, ID
Stop 3: Deschutes National Forest/Willamette National Forest, OR
Stop 4: Mount Baker/Snoqualmie National Forest, WA
Stop 5: North Cascades National Park, WA
Stop 6: Glacier National Park, MT
Stop 7: Gooseberry Falls State Park/Tettegouche State Park/Etc., MN
Stop 8: Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore
We plan on spending 2 full days at each stop, but we're not married to the route nor are we married to having to go to every single one of these stops (besides Glacier, we love Glacier). We don't really need advice in terms of where to camp or anything, we've got that pretty much covered, and we're pretty keen on what hikes we want to do in each area as well. But we're more so trying to decide where to stop along the way. While we don't want to crawl from one stop to the next, we do have some extra days to work with that we could take our time a bit from stop to stop. On top of that, anything close(ish) to this route, or even a deviation from the route that would be worth doing, would be great to know. For what it's worth, we will have our dogs with us, so we're more so trying to avoid the national parks due to the lack of hiking we can do there, but we're not diametrically opposed to them either.
