We have a leg of an early January California road trip that we need some help with. We’re going from Joshua Tree to San Francisco and need a cool place to stay somewhere in the middle. The Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo looks awesome, but a bit too pricey. We have a tear drop trailer, so camping is also a possibility. The catch is that I need to have a good phone signal the whole time. Any recommendations?
