Hi all, I (28m, first time car owner) am planning to take a road trip from Seattle to NYC around 3rd week of December to spend holidays with my family. What all should I keep in mind for the drive? I just bought a Camry Hybrid (no all weather tires), so I will most certainly need to get some snow chains. I will mostly be sticking to i-90, as its the busiest highways in the region and therefore might be well maintained, in case. I will be driving solo to Bozeman, MT and pick up a friend (same experience with cars) and we'll drive to NY.

What do y'all suggest? Is the trip doable? What all should I keep in mind?
