Road Trip through Nor-Cal
Hey All,
I've been wanting to go on a road trip through Northern California, and I believe either Thanksgiving break or Christmas Break will be the answer. I will be going with my girlfriend, in a Volkswagon Passat, so the terrain should not be tooooo harsh.
We'll be starting from slightly below San Francisco.
We both really enjoy cold weather, along with forests and mountains. We plan on sleeping in the car, in a tent, or maybe in an inn(must be very cute!).
I have no idea where to begin, and while I know Redwood National Park exists, I would like input from anyone who has any. I'm looking for destinations, cute places to eat in Northern California, sights to see, a green meadow for a picnic(I'm only half-kidding), music recommendations, tips. Really anything you have to add!
All help is greatly appreciated, as I feel very lost!
Forgot to add that it will be somewhere between 3-7 days.
