Im thinking of maybe driving from Vancouver BC to Dallas Texas for firefighting bootcamp. My main concerns are possible car troubles and possibly being burnt out from a few days of driving there and then having to be locked up in intense bootcamp for 2weeks straight, and then maybe being home sick after that... I am 20yo. Also saving multiple tanks worth of gas money is appealing. However I really want the experience of driving through the states and going snowboarding on every mountain I can find on the way there... thoughts?
