Where should I be staying?
So I'm planning on doing a road trip around Victoria, Australia and am stuck on what to do about accomodation. It's my first time doing something like this and want to make the best choice. So I have 2 options as of now.
1) Stay at motels at the final spot for each day which would probably run me just under $100 AUD per night
2) Sleep in my car.
The only problem is I don't know where I could sleep, Australia is generally pretty safe from my experiences (especially rural Australia) and I doubt anything would happen to me, but I want to be somewhere safe. I've been looking at caravan parks and camping grounds but obviously, I don't have a caravan and don't know if they'd allow some guy in his car to just rock up and stay for 1 night.
Anyways, what I'm trying to say is that I don't know where to stay if I choose to sleep in my car that is safe and allows single cars to stay overnight. Appreciate any help.
