Traveling I-90 Ohio to Seattle for ~6 days in about 2 weeks: critique my plan and tips, suggestions?
So my SO and I have volunteered to drive a family members vehicle cross country on a limited time schedule. We’re allowed to stop along the way and do things. In particular we really want to visit Badlands and Yellowstone. Can we expect serious problems taking a new Mustang through these areas? Could anyone tell me if my timeline is unrealistic?
Day 1 Cleveland OH to Madison WI,
day 2 to Sioux Falls SD,
day 3 to (including Badlands, iron mountain road and needles highway) Deadwood SD,
day 4 to Gardiner MT,
day 5 to Yellowstone grand loop road then to Livingston MT,
day 6 to Seattle.
It’s not our first road trip but the previous was impromptu, our vehicle, and no time frame. I’ve got a whole spreadsheet going referencing the Roadtrippers app for times and every stop, we’ve got lists of things we’ll need. I just don’t know if I’m overthinking it? Have not booked anything yet. I get Yellowstone really isn’t a day trip but I know we’ll be back one day. Thanks in advance!
