I'm currently on a roadtrip and we're close to San Francisco with a plan to go as far south as San Diego. We'd like to explore the cities but the RV, a Class C, is a little unwieldy. Does anyone have any tips? Like hotels that have space for RV parking, smaller cities to rent an Airbnb to give access to the bigger cities, maybe? Or maybe some tips or ideas about renting cars? Ideally we'd like to park the RV up for a week and rent a drop top.

I realise this is kinda vague but I'm hoping people have some something similar before and can offer and insight. Thanks!
