Philly to Louisville by way of Morgantown, bachelor party crew, need advice!
Having a bachelor party for my buddy in Louisville in a few weeks, and we will be renting a car and road tripping it out there, with an overnight stop in Morgantown WV. Part of the beauty of this road trip is that the location chosen for the bachelor party is meant to be a surprise, so we'll be scooping the bachelor up in the morning and having him wonder where the hell we are headed (he knows nearly zero details, doesn't even know about the road trip).
I'm looking for some advice on cool/interesting stops along the way on either part of this trip, especially ones that will really confuse him as to what the BP plans are (at one point we considered really confusing him by picking him up in an RV). But really anything that might be a cool diversion for 6 dudes on a road trip, with the only caveat being that we won't have a *ton* of time to kill since we'll be looking to get into our destinations each day by late afternoon, so museums or stuff far off the interstates might be tough to do.
Day 1 - looking for places generally in southern Pennsylvania and northern Maryland, along I-76, I-70, I-68, or that sliver of I-81 between Harrisburg and Hagerstown
Day 2 - fairly certain we'll be sticking to I-79 and I-64, so anything along the way on those highways
Looking forward to everyone's advice! Suggestions for stuff to do around Louisville (or Morgantown) also very welcome!
