So me and my friend are making a road trip to LA and picking up our friend Vegas on the way, we have a cargo van but its been stripped so there's no seats in the back or anything. My question is.. Would we be able to get away with just keeping our friend in the back on a chair thats strapped in? Or would we have to actually install a seat with a seatbelt and everything. Originally the idea was to just blow up the air mattress and say we were letting him sleep blah blah. I know this is a little confusing but im trying to explain the stupid situation the best I can.
