Question about Natchez Trace Parkway!
Hi, I am planning a road trip in the U.S. South for January for about two weeks. Found out about the Natchez Trace Parkway and am very interested in exploring it. I did the San Juan Skyway in CO a couples years ago, and it was so beautiful.
That being said, we are thinking about travelling from Oklahoma City, OK to Mulberry, AR, spend a night at White Rock Mountain, then continue to Tupelo, MS or French Camp, MS to start at the halfway point of Natchez Trace. (partly to explore White Rock, partly because it is much less driving from AR than OK). We are headed to Raleigh, NC through Nashville, TN.
However, is the whole of Natchez Trace worth exploring? Would it be better to just skip AR and take the long drive from OK to start at the beginning of the Parkway in Natchez? We will most likely stay somewhere along the way.
