Driving from Maryland's Eastern Shore to St Louis
Not really a "roadtrip" in the sense that I won't be stopping repeatedly and spending my days doing things apart from driving (and maybe eating). Will also be solo. My hope is to make the ~14 hour drive in two days. My one regret is I'll probably drive right by Fallingwater so if I extended it a day, it would probably be to do that.
Anyway, I am wondering if anyone has recommendations for which of the two relatively equidistant paths is the more interesting/scenic drive? Link to Google Maps (I plugged in Dover to keep some anonymity. The town I will be coming from is quite small). The routes split at Morgantown, WV. One route goes to just below Pittsburgh then shoots west through Columbus, Indy, and on to StL. The other goes southeast through WV and KY. I am leaning toward the latter because I don't think I have been to WV and only been to KY once or twice before.
Also any interesting places on either route I should stay the night?
