Zion to Seattle
I have a bunch of PTO and have really not explored the western part of the country as much as I'd have like to (Hoosier girl, here!). I am attending a wedding in Portland in July, and I figured why not double up on the holiday time + available PTO and take a road trip!
Zion National Park has been on my bucket list for a long time, so my plan is to fly into Vegas, rent a car and spend a day at Zion make it out to Portland by July 8 or 9 and then drive up to WA to spend a couple of days before I fly home. I was thinking of flying in on the 5th and coming back on the 12th (though I could bump that to the 4th, if needed) and am feeling a little choice paralysis. How would you make the most of this time and trip? I'd love to knock our some more national parks, but am open to general sightseeing and town exploring also.
Also, if you're going to hit one park in WA - Olympic or Mt. Rainier?
