Road trip advice needed!!
Hey everyone. Hope you are doing well. I need some advice as to where to go on a road trip this summer. My wife and i were planning to go international for the first time with our infant and because of the pandemic we didnt travel at all. why im talking about that, it because we have 17 month old without a passport. So when we were trying to apply for the passport a few weeks ago, with flight bookings in July, we came to find out that there were NO appointments available. I do not know how some people are going to travel with such a back log. We are from NY, with the three states near by there are no appoints, we kept trying for weeks. Finally yesterday there was a passport fair being help in NJ where you can go submit applications. So that was good but there is a bad part, slightly. The expediated period of passport is more than 2 months now maybe 3. So there goes any plans of going international untill fall time i guess. So we will have to stick to somewhere here in the US. We are planning to go to California soon but for now we want to do a road trip. Some night mountain areas maybe lakes and cabins is what we are looking for. I also do photography and video with drone as well so i want to go to a place that will be awesome to capture.
