Give me more power!!
Hello fellow trippers, I am needing some guidance. In 2019 I shared details about my families road trip to the Southwest. Thanks to COVID our Northwest trip was postponed, however it’s back on and we leave for Glacier National in 8 days expecting to put ~5500 miles on the odometer by the time we’re done. That being said I learned something last trip, power is a good thing! We are again renting a 15 passenger Ford Van-terra however this time I am considering the idea of putting a power inverter in place as the cigarette lighter plug in gets highly overwhelmed when 8 people are all wanting to charge things or do whatever else is needed. My guidance is needed here
1) suggestions on a brand looking at ~2k watts
2) is it extremely hard to install
3) can the install take place without having to cause any damage or alterations because it is a rental.
