24 day road trip out West suggestions?
I am planning around a 24-day road trip out west in early July. The general outline is
- Connecticut -> Cuyahoga Valley (1 day)
- Cuyahoga Valley -> Chicago (1 day, might stay in Chicago extra day)
- Chicago -> badlands (might be two-day drive and stay in black hills a couple of days)
- Badlands-> Yellowstone/Grand Teton (5 to 6 days in that area)
- Grand Teton -> Salt Lake City (1 day)
- Salt Lake City -> Moab (spend rest of trip in moab area until 21st night)
- Drive back home in 3 days ( don't know where to stop)
The total trip milages is around 5000 miles, but I'm sure it will be more. Do you think this a realistic amount of driving for 24 days split between two people. Also, does anyone have suggestions for where to stop on drive from Moab back to Connecticut?
