Which passes and memberships should I get for the all-around US trip?
I know I'll need the National Parks pass but when shopping at REI I noticed tons of others. I will very likely drive through some of these places but no more than once. So the annual passes for certain attractions don't seem to make sense unless they cover more than one locations - which ones do you thing are worth it?
Another thing I'm considering are road/toll passes. I live in NJ so I think I should get an EZ-Pass but I wonder if CA FasTrak is worth getting as well. Do I need to purchase it locally - or they could mail one to NJ?
Finally, there's the Black Card from Planet Fitness- I like working out plus it's probably a good options for showering if end up camping a lot. I'm not 100% sure that monthly fees are worth it - I may use it sparingly but I don't think PF has daily passes.
Are there any other passes/memberships that you guys found useful in your trips that I should look into? There's obviously AAA and REI but I was wondering if there's maybe something that could save me money on gas (besides some cash back CC) or camping?
