Road trip from NJ to CA
Hey everyone. My three friends and I are planning a three week roadtrip from NJ to CA, with us stopping several times along the way. We plan on flying home to help save us some time.
I was wondering what the best route would be, as well as what are must-see destinations. We have agreed that a few days in Seattle, and a week in CA (Big Sur, San Francisco, maybe San Diego) would be best. We want to see a bunch of national parks too, along the way (I have to see Yosemite and Yellowstone).
I was thinking of going up through Montana, across to Washington, down the coast to California. If we have time, I'd love to Vegas, and then maybe bits of Utah and Colorado before we go... but that's probably way too much driving. I'm just spit balling here to get an idea of what we should be doing.
So what are some must sees, and what route would you recommend? Again, we have about 20 days or so.
