I have been thinking of doing a solo road trip to the west coast from Ohio, and I would like to spend some of the trip when I get to the coast driving up/down the coast highway. Has anyone here ever done a trip of this length and done as long of a drive on the PCH as L.A. to Seattle, or would I be better off dividing my time spent to either the southwest/California (L.A. to Bay Area), or in the Pacific Northwest?
