I’ll be travelling from Seattle to the Bay Area soon. This means I will at least have to have chains with me (I don’t have winter/studded tires). I got some from Les Schwab, and according to them, I can return the chain if it is unused. However, I would still like to practice putting on the chain (in a non-snow environment). Would this render the chain “used,” and would I be unable to return it? Thanks in advance for your help
