Need advice for path through Montana/Wyoming
Hey fellow roadtrippers!
My boyfriend and I are moving back to North Carolina from Southern California. On our way to California in October, we hit a massive snowstorm that seemed to cross the entire west coast. We got redirected from our northern path and went all the way from the Badlands to Amarillo, TX (where it still happened to snow). We had plans to go to the Tetons and parts of Southern Montana, but because of the snow, we had to cancel. Now we're on our way back in early April and would like to attempt to visit again, but we're worried about snow. We have chains but would still like to avoid snow if possible. How does the weather look around early April in those regions? Should we consider Utah and Colorado instead? Will that region also be snowy (more so CO mountains)? Would appreciate any advice.
TL;DR: What does the weather look like in Wyoming & Southern Montana in Early April?
