Let's See "Fly-Over" Country - Recommendations?
Yo r/roadtrip!
I'm driving from Seattle, WA to Columbia, SC at the end of June/July and I'm giving myself 14 days to do so. I could go south and cut east through the more popular states, but I've already seen all of those.
I've always wanted to actually visit South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, etc. so I'm making it a point of visiting these states. I understand there's not "much to see" but what should I make an effort to see on my journey?
Day 1: Seattle to Boise (Already been everywhere in between)
Day 2: Boise to Tetons
Day 3: Tetons to Yellowstone
Day 4: Yellowstone to Badlands
Day 5: Badlands to Omaha
Day 6: Omaha to Kansas City
Day 7: KC to St. Louis
Day 8: St. Louis to Nashville
Day 9: Nashville to Charlotte
Day 10: Charlotte to Columbia
I have 4 extra days and I'm looking for any and all recommendations of where to plug them in.
