Lap of the U.S. - Best Credit cards, Reward Cards etc?
My wife and I are going to be doing a 3.5 week trip starting in mid-April. Starting in the North East, out to the PNW on a northern route, down to Vegas, then back east through the pan handle, Oklahoma etc... Total loop is 6500-7000miles. We're staying with friends at a couple points but most of it will be hotels/motels. We're doing it inexpensively, but not absolute bare bones. Any suggestions for which points cards or hotel/motel rewards are the best and most useful? Most of the sites that review them seem to just be doing referral advertising so its hard to figure out which recommendations are legit.
