Hey everyone, this is a great sub with so much info but I thought I'd make a post to see if anyone has tips for me.

I'm moving from Pittsburgh to Las Vegas and will be driving my car (and all my stuff out there). I plan on using a website like roadtrippers to map out my route, and plan to drive 8-10 hours a day.

I'm a little nervous about staying in hotels with literally everything I own in my car, as well as the possibility of breaking down. (I'm young and small) I'm having my car thoroughly inspected/worked on before I go, but it's an old car with a lot of miles. I don't know what I'd do if it broke down.

I'll take any and all tips and advice for my first trip across the country. Thank you so much!
