Driving from New Hampshire to Arizona in May. Need Recommendations!
As the titles states, I will be driving from NH to Phoenix, AZ in May for an internship and was curious what route(s) I should take? I was thinking of either going through Colorado and sneaking into Utah/Northern Arizona hitting up Great Sand Dunes NP, Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP, Monument Valley, Horse Shoe Bend, etc. My other idea, if I wanted a shorter drive, would be going through New Mexico and hitting up Carlsbad Caverns NP and White Sands NP.
I have driven cross-country before and want to see new places too. I’ve already been to Rocky Mtn NP, Arches + Canyonlands NP, Grand Canyon NP, and Sedona. It is worth mentioning that I will have about a week to drive out there since the period between when my semester ends and the internship starts is close together, so I won’t have “a lot” of time but I will still have plenty of room to work with. I have 2 months to plan this out so any recommendations would be appreciated!
