Deciding on a starting date for a US road trip
Hi everyone, you were very helpful last time I asked a question here so I'm asking again.
I'm currently planning a 6 months road trip in the US, and I'm not sure about my starting date/month.
I'm conflicted between august 2020 and march 2021(based on suggestions from the last post)
I'm going to start near Arizona (because I can get a car there)
I want august to win because it's a. Sooner. b. It's when my rentel lease ends and I won't have to find a temporary housing solution and move all my things.
But I'm not convinced because I'm not sure how's the covid situation is going to be like, and I'm not sure if the following months are good for some of the activities I want.
Places:
- Yosemite park(most important)
- Grand canyon.
- Sequoia national park.
- Angels landing.
- Colorado
- Montana
Activities:
- Hunting
- Meeting people at bars
- Maybe go to a university party
- Driving a lot
March would be better because all the following months are nice to travel and covid-19 shouldn't be as big of a deal(hopefully)
I would love to hear your thoughts and if you have any other recommendations for activities and/or places to visit I would love to know as well.
Thanks again!
