Cross Country Trip Advice
Hey Yall,
I am packing up my life in Long Beach, CA and moving back east to Philadelphia mid-April. I am going to be driving myself, my dog, and a few key succulents cross this great nation and I wanted thoughts about things we must see or visit.
Right now the plan is spend approx 8 days for the trip, so as much as I'd love to spend a month exploring all the awesome cities and national parks, I gotta get back to my wife who is flying with my daughter. I've done this once before from San Diego and took the more southern route and it was great, but I am looking to take a different route this time around. I'd love your thoughts about things to add to my route or tweaks...really anything, even food or other recommendations!
Edit: I am also vaccinated so just wanted to get in front of that before I get shamed for the trip.
Start: Long Beach, CA
Grand Canyon - AZ
Arches / Moab - Utah
Rockies / Denver - CO
Deadwood / Mount Rushmore / Badlands - SD
Pipestone National Park - MN
Madison, WI (to see family) / Chicago, IL
Dunes National Park - IN
Trip End: Philadelphia
