Any tips on getting a solid estimate of RV trip mileage?
In the intermediate stages of planning a cross country cruise america RV trip for 2022-- all of the main stops are picked out (cities, landmarks, parks, etc) but I'm curious if anyone knows typically how many additional miles get added on from miscellaneous stops like food, gas, smaller drives within parks, etc. Since cruise america charges by mileage (which you indicate when booking, and costs more for overage) I want to make sure I have a sufficient cushion to what is currently a 9,000 mile, 26 day trip. I'm thinking tack on another 1,800 miles for all that extra stuff. Anyone experienced with estimating this stuff?
