Moving from Seattle to Richmond with my husband and daughter in September.
We are taking I-90 through Montana and South Dakota, Hwy 29 to Kansas city, Hwy 70 to St Louis, through Nashville, a pit stop to see his parents in Columbia, SC, and up past Fayetteville to Richmond.
We will be traveling with our daughter, who will be 9 months old at the time. We expect the trip (including probably the 4-5 days with his parents) to be roughly two weeks.
We will ship nearly all of our belongings and bring only what we need in our Honda CR-V.
What should we stop to see? Ideally a 1-2 hour or shorter stop, things that are cheap or free, a nice stretch for the legs or sight to see. Other bonuses: an insane restaurant or neat hotel.
I'm taking all suggestions!! And- we will hopefully be vaccinated at this point, but we will 100% be taking as many precautions as possible.
