I am moving from NC to WA and I'd like to know the best route. I'm most worried about snow and poor road conditions. I will be in a campervan with my dogs and while I'm sure I'll make a couple of sightseeing stops I'm trying to do this somewhat quickly over about 10 days. I might be towing a small, lightweight aluminum trailer with a very light boat on it. A sunfish, if anyone is familiar. It weighs about 150lbs plus the trailer, probably under 400lbs total. I don't have snow tires and I will be driving a dodge promaster 2500. Google is routing me north through MT on the I-90. Would it be better to go south via the 40 then cut up at some point and head north to WA? Thanks!
