United States Roadtrip in Late April/Early May
My boyfriend and I are graduating college in late April of 2021 and as a graduation gift to ourselves we are going on a roadtrip. It will be both of our first road trips, so I wanted to get some opinions on our destinations and if our time-frame is feasible. We’re looking to leave Tallahassee, Florida on 4/26 and get back on 5/10.
As of right now, here is our route:
Tallahassee —> Houston —> El Paso —> Phoenix —> Williams, AZ (to visit the Grand Canyon South Rim) —> Antelope Canyon —> Moab (to visit Arches NP) —> Denver —> Kansas City, MO —> Nashville —> Atlanta —> back to Tallahassee
What do you guys think? Is two weeks enough time for a trip like this? We’re planning on driving until we’re tired then getting a cheap motel most nights and sleeping in the car occasionally.
Any must see destinations/holes in the wall along this route? I have never been farther west than New Orleans.
