Driving from Portland to Durango in a couple weeks and wondering if anyone can shed some light on what winter driving conditions to expect.

We have chains and fairly new M+S tires. Has anyone made all or part of this trip before this time of year? Should I expect mostly clear roads or a bunch of sketchy driving or anything in between?

Any stretches to look out for / avoid? (Time is not a huge factor)
