Hey guys, I would like to bring my car out to college for the upcoming semester and have some questions about the road trip.

I am planning on driving from the Seattle area to the Denver area during early January with a friend or two. We have quite a bit of time and have the oppurtunity to spend around a week if we need to depending on weather conditions.

My family has brought up some concerns regarding the weather when driving through the mountains.

I have some experience driving in the snow and I have a car that can handle it (4WD SUV). We are willing to be flexible with our route depending on the weather.
